DevOps Engineer

We're the driverless
car company. We believe in building great products to improve people’s lives by
making transportation safer, more accessible, and more convenient. Our team is
small, but we move quickly. In less than a year, we built prototype vehicles
that have logged over 10,000 autonomous miles on California highways. We're
looking for smart, ambitious people to help develop our next generation
products, ensure they’re reliable and safe, and deploy them at scale. We're
looking for a senior devops engineer to build the foundation of our devops team,
lead IT infrastructure projects, and respond to day-to-day IT
needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain on-site
  infrastructure (storage, network, and servers) and AWS resources

Proactively
identify system issues, gather requirements, and implement solutions
Create and enforce
policies for all things that touch the running service
Lead IT
infrastructure related projects such as setting up servers and upgrading the
network
Respond to
day-to-day IT needs



REQUIREMENTS

• BS in CS, math,
  physics, or similar field

5+ years of
experience as a sysadmin, software engineer, or devops engineer
Excellent
knowledge of networking, system administration, AWS, and best IT practices

Strong
understanding of Linux
Strong
understanding of coding and scripting
Comfortable being
self-directed in conducting day to day tasks
Passionate about
self-driving technology and its potential impact on the
world
