Job Description

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be pivotal in designing, deploying, and operating scalable, secure, and highly efficient cloud-based computing systems. Your role will emphasize the development of innovative cloud solutions to meet unique and highly sensitive requirements, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with stringent security protocols.
Design, implement, and manage cloud solutions across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) tailored for government operations.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with federal security regulations and standards.
Optimize cloud management and foresee operational issues by implementing predictive and proactive maintenance measures.
Lead and mentor teams of IT professionals in complex cloud deployments.
Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to existing cloud architectures to enhance performance and reduce costs.
Coordinate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
Expertise in cloud services architecture, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Strong background in Linux/Unix and Windows server environments.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Ruby.
Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Ansible, Puppet).
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.
Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks applicable to the federal government.
Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
