Responsibilities

Cook & Line Cook Qualifications/Skills:

• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
• Ability to work as a team member
• Follows directions and instructions
• Station Setup & Stocking: Setting up the workstation with all necessary supplies, including ingredients, tools, and sauces before service starts.
• Food Preparation: Chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces, and performing other prep work as needed.
• Cooking to Order: Preparing and cooking menu items to the exact specifications , ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
• Sanitation & Cleanliness: Cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, equipment, and utensils throughout the shift, complying with food safety and health standards.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, labeling and storing ingredients properly (FIFO), and reporting shortages.
• Collaboration: Coordinating with other kitchen staff to ensure all dishes in an order are completed simultaneously As Ordered
• Set up workstations
• Cook dishes to business standards
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Prepare ingredients for use during shift

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a cook
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
