We are looking for a skilled Controls Technician for a food manufacturer in St Elmo, IL!

Controls Technician - 3rd Shift Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $38.90 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Third Shift (Monday through Friday from 11:00pm to 07:00am)
  • Install, configure, and commission programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, and related control hardware
  • Program and modify batch management systems, including adding or editing recipes
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on automated control systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose control system issues onsite and remotely
  • Repair or replace sensors, actuators, valves, motor drives, and related components

Controls Technician - 3rd Shift Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with industrial programmable logic controllers or a comparable combination of education and experience
  • Experience programming and troubleshooting programmable controllers
  • Food industry experience is a plus!
  • Allen Bradley machine knowledge is a plus!
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
