Program Manager with Security Clearance

Overview PROGRAM MANAGER (NAUT): Bowhead seeks a Program Manager to join our team in supporting the Nautical contract located in Alexandria, VA. The Program Manager will provide management, administrative, financial, technical, and business transformation support services. Responsibilities * Establish and maintain an adequate and accurate cost accounting system. * Establish and maintain procedures for effective data management. * Manage all hardware and software configurations. * Establish and control program product baseline. * Establish and maintain a Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) program. * Interview, hire and on-board personnel, providing team supervision, coaching/mentoring to ensure technical efforts proceed within budget/schedule and meet customer requirements. * Provide the management of vendors and subcontractors. * Provide the technical management team working at the client's site. * Advise on the distribution of work among positions and organizations. * Advise and evaluate the effectiveness of operations in meeting goals. * Perform cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs. * Advise on potential benefits/uses of automation to improve efficiency. * Evaluate and advise on organization, methods, and procedures for providing support. * Research and investigate new or improved business and management practices. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field. * Ten (10+) years of program management experience. * Current PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification. * Knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes. * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. * Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Physical Demands * Must be able to lift 25 pounds on occasion. * Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time. * Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret / SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement for this contract. #LI-KC1
