Cath Lab Tech

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Cath Lab Tech to support client hospitals in delivering high-quality cardiac care. In this role, you’ll assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including prep, scrub, monitoring, and post-procedure care. Responsibilities include operating imaging and monitoring equipment, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures following established protocols
Prepare patients, obtain histories, and provide peri-procedural education and support
Scrub, circulate, and monitor cases, ensuring sterile technique and accurate hemodynamic monitoring
Operate and troubleshoot imaging and monitoring equipment safely, adhering to radiation safety standards
Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and allied staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
Document procedures, findings, and charges accurately in electronic health records
Assist with emergency interventions such as STEMI and hemodynamically unstable patients
Maintain cath lab supplies, equipment readiness, and compliance with regulatory standards
Cardiac catheterization procedures
Hemodynamic monitoring
Sterile field and scrub techniques
Radiologic imaging and fluoroscopy operation
Contrast administration and safety
Electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm interpretation
Radiation safety and dose monitoring
Patient assessment and peri-procedural care
Emergency response in cath lab setting
