Job Description
Clean Harbors, a North American leader in environmental and industrial services, seeks a dedicated Class A Owner Operator to join our logistics team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our operations, providing crucial services in hazardous waste disposal and emergency response. Equipped with your own vehicle, you will handle the transportation and delivery of potentially hazardous materials, adhering to all federal and state regulations while supporting our mission to protect the environment.
Transport and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely and on time.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Conduct vehicle inspections and perform necessary maintenance to ensure operational safety.
Prepare and manage transport documentation, including manifests and bills of lading.
Collaborate with dispatch and operation teams to optimize routes and deliveries.
Report and communicate any incidents or environmental concerns immediately.
Strong knowledge of DOT and hazardous materials regulations.
Proficient in using GPS and other routing systems.
Ability to handle and transport sensitive materials with care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Medical Insurance
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Hazardous Materials Endorsement (HME).
Clean driving record.
Ownership of a suitable vehicle for heavy industrial and hazardous materials transport.
