Join New Horizon Foods as a Cook in our Food & Beverage Operations team. You’ll prepare and present high-quality meals, follow recipes and dietary guidelines, and support menus designed for healthcare and education settings. Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards, assist with inventory and ordering, and keep kitchen equipment clean and organized. You’ll work closely with Food Service Managers and teammates to ensure timely meal service, excellent customer satisfaction, and a positive dining experience that reflects our culture of teamwork, innovation, and superior service.
Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines
Follow special diets and dietary restrictions for healthcare and education clients
Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing food and supplies
Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation before service
Support menu changes and special events as directed by management
Communicate effectively with Food Service Manager and kitchen team
Follow all company and regulatory food-handling policies
Help reduce waste through proper preparation, labeling, and storage
