**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** This role assembles complete hydraulic and pneumatic valves and valve components by following blueprints and detailed assembly instructions. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, using hand and power tools to build high-quality products while maintaining safety, accuracy, and cleanliness at your workstation. **Responsibilities** + Assemble complete hydraulic and pneumatic valves and valve components according to blueprints and assembly instructions. + Follow and complete the daily job list as directed by the supervisor. + Swedge or roll crimp valve fitting ends to form a precise 37° angle. + Perform seat preparations, including burnishing, coining, and cleaning, with minimal supervision and in accordance with applicable work instructions. + Apply sealants and other chemicals as required for each assembly. + Maintain accurate parts identification and part counts for each job. + Operate small hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. + Keep all hand tools clean, properly maintained, and in good working condition. + Notify the supervisor promptly when any equipment requires repair or maintenance. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times. + Handle and dispose of chemicals properly in accordance with safety guidelines. + Follow all safety standards and use required safety equipment consistently. + Use the correct fixtures and tooling for each job based on drawings, schematics, and work instructions. + Perform rework as needed using appropriate tools such as torque tools and drill presses. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly diagrams to complete tasks accurately. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions. + Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form. + Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, including torque tools and drill presses, in a manufacturing or production setting. + Capability to perform mechanical assembly work on production or assembly lines. + Ability to perform swedging or roll crimping to achieve a 37° angle on valve fitting ends. + Ability to perform seat preparations such as burnishing, coining, and cleaning with minimal supervision. + Attention to detail for maintaining accurate part identification and part counts. + Commitment to following safety standards and using required safety equipment. + Ability to work effectively in a busy manufacturing environment and meet daily deadlines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment. + Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic components and assemblies. + Experience with rework processes using tools such as torque tools and drill presses. + Basic computer skills, including use of Windows and internet browsers. + Experience with ERP or inventory systems. + Ability to work collaboratively within a team of 10-15 people. + Willingness to train on a different shift before moving to the assigned shift. **Why Work Here?** You will join a supportive team environment where colleagues help each other to meet daily deadlines and achieve shared goals. You will work closely with a team of approximately 10-15 people in a collaborative, team-oriented culture where everyone helps out to complete daily deadlines. The role involves regular use of hand tools, power tools, torque tools, drill presses, and other assembly equipment, as well as interaction with ERP and basic computer systems. The standard schedule is a 4/10 shift from 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., with an initial training period on first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until you receive a clear evaluation to move to the assigned shift. The dress code includes steel-toed footwear, jeans, and a non-offensive top, in line with safety and professionalism requirements. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valencia, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
