Material Handler

Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Material Handler to work at a premier manufacturing client in Salt Lake City, UT. Sound like something you’re interested in?

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20.33 per hour Shift: open availability, 12 Hour rotating schedule 6:30PM-6:30AM What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Staging and organizing materials in designated areas to support production
• Maintaining a clean work environment at all times
• Operating forklifts, walkie riders, order selectors, or pallet jacks to move materials to production areas
• Picking and pulling materials from warehouse or Kanban areas, including performing Oracle transactions
• Weighing, verifying, and restocking returns from production
• Verifying part numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and locations for accuracy
• Moving finished goods from staging areas to warehouse storage
• Performing label control and ensuring all information is correct
• Reconciling work orders and ensuring all transactions are completed in Oracle
• Conducting daily cycle counts and zone counting as instructed
• Following all safety regulations and procedures

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent (required)
• Are at least 18 years of age
• Possess one year or more of related experience (preferred)
• Have forklift experience (required)
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Have experience with Oracle systems (preferred)
• Can read, write, perform basic calculations, and navigate computer programs accurately
• Have strong oral and written communication skills and can work with minimal supervision
• Can work in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with open availability on a 12-hour rotating schedule
• Can lift up to 40 lbs, and are able to sit, stand, or kneel for long periods
