Server

Iowa Athletic Club, a sports bar and made-from-scratch restaurant located in the Iowa River Landing in Coralville, IA, is looking for Server to join our team.

We're seeking experienced hospitality professionals interested in growing into a Bartender role. Successful candidates will have previous restaurant experience, open availability, a strong work ethic, and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.

All new Bartenders begin by completing server training to build a strong understanding of our menu, service standards, and restaurant operations. After successfully completing training, team members will transition into bartending responsibilities and continue developing their skills behind the bar.

Compensation for fully trained Servers starts at $4.35/hour plus tips, with tip payouts distributed nightly.

What You'll Do

• Complete server training and demonstrate strong guest service skills
• Take food and beverage orders and provide exceptional hospitality
• Learn menu knowledge, service standards, and restaurant operations
• Assist bartenders with stocking, organization, and bar support duties
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dining room and bar area
• Build the skills and knowledge needed to transition into bartending responsibilities
• Work closely with management and trainers throughout the development process
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous restaurant experience required
• Bartending experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Open availability preferred
• Must be able to pass the IPACT Training within one month of hire
