Job Description
Delta Defense, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our dynamic IT team, driving innovation and enhancing our capabilities in managing extensive data resources vital to our operations and services in the self-defense and firearms industry. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing data systems that not only adhere to industry standards but also align tightly with our mission to support responsible American gun owners through education, training, and self-defense liability insurance. You’ll collaborate with IT specialists and business leaders to translate complex functional and technical needs into scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions.
Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data architectures.
Work closely with IT stakeholders and business units to design and implement data solutions that support organizational objectives.
Ensure architectural solutions are in compliance with data privacy laws and standards specific to the firearms and self-defense training industry.
Regularly evaluate data systems performance, integrating new technologies and methodologies to enhance both data reliability and system capacities.
Lead initiatives to improve data reliability, quality, and value across the organization.
Provide technical leadership and guidance in the development and integration of data governance and data lifecycle management.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure the security of database solutions.
Proven expertise in SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
Advanced knowledge of data modeling and database design.
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and integrating cloud data services.
Proficiency in ETL frameworks and data warehousing solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
