Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Delta Defense, LLC, a leading service provider to the USCCA, is seeking a knowledgeable Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to enhance our IT team. This role involves managing our cloud computing strategy which includes cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. As a pivotal component in ensuring the secure and efficient operation of our digital services for responsible American gun owners, the successful candidate will support us in maintaining outstanding customer service and robust security measures.
Design, implement, and manage cloud solutions and architecture
Monitor cloud operations to ensure compliance with security and privacy protocols
Optimize system performance through regular testing and troubleshooting
Collaborate with IT security teams to forecast potential security threats
Conduct migration of servers and databases to cloud environments
Provide training and support to IT teams on new cloud technologies and initiatives
Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix Administration
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other CI/CD tools
Skilled in Python, Perl, or a similar scripting language
Understanding of network layers and firewalls
