Job Description
UCHealth is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care in a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive environment. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, care planning, medication administration, documentation, and patient/family education. You will partner closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes while supporting continuous improvement. Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to diverse patient populations across UCHealth facilities.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient responses.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies while ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize patient care.
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans to support long-term health.
Maintain infection prevention standards and patient safety protocols in all care activities.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for process and care enhancements.
