Job Description
Orica is seeking a safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this role, you will safely operate commercial vehicles to transport explosives and related materials to mining, quarrying, construction, and energy sites. Responsibilities include performing thorough vehicle inspections, loading and unloading hazardous materials, following strict DOT and Orica safety standards, and maintaining accurate electronic logs and delivery records. You’ll work closely with dispatch and site teams in a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture with strong opportunities for skill development and career growth.
Safely operate CDL Class B vehicles to deliver explosives and related materials to customer sites
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required safety documentation
Handle, load, and unload hazardous materials in compliance with DOT and Orica safety standards
Follow designated routes and schedules while maintaining on-time deliveries
Communicate with dispatch, site personnel, and team members to coordinate deliveries
Maintain accurate delivery, log, and compliance records using electronic systems
Uphold Orica’s safety, environmental, and sustainability standards at all times
Provide professional customer service at mine, quarry, and construction locations
CDL Class B driving
