Engineering Project Manager

We're partnered with a **long-established pharmaceutical manufacturer** seeking a **hands-on Engineering Project Manager** to lead capital projects in a **cGMP API manufacturing environment** . This is **not a coordinator role** . The ideal candidate is a **technical subject matter expert** who personally diagnoses problems, makes design decisions, and owns projects end-to-end - not someone who relies on consultants to do the technical thinking. **What you'll do:** + Own **$1MM+ capital projects** from scope/URS through design, construction, commissioning, **IQ/OQ/PQ** , and validated turnover + Act as the technical authority for process, facility, and utility systems + Support new product scale-up and capacity expansions + Troubleshoot and improve systems in an aging, complex GMP facility + Drive work through change control, CQV, and structured problem-solving **Must-have background:** + 5+ years in **pharma, biologics, or FDA-regulated manufacturing** + Hands-on CQV experience (FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ) + Capital project ownership (not just participation) + Experience with process & clean utilities (WFI/RO, clean steam, HVAC, etc.) + **B.S.
