Warehouse Associate
Job Description
Our client, a leading transportation and logistics organization, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the shipping, receiving, and inventory management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Olathe, KS
Pay Range: $18.50
Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing
- Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping requisitions to determine items to be moved or shipped
- Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for both employees and customers
- Complete work safely, adhering to all safety policies and procedures
What's Needed?
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in dock or warehouse operations in the transportation industry is a plus
