Job Description
Intermountain Healthcare invites applications for the role of CT Technologist within our health system. Our dedicated imaging teams work across various clinics and hospitals in Utah, helping to reinforce our mission of enhancing community well-being through state-of-the-art medical services and patient care. As a CT Technologist, you will be integral in providing high-quality diagnostics using computed tomography (CT) technology, playing a key role in facilitating treatment planning and delivery.
Operate CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Review and interpret physician orders and patient information to prepare for procedures.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans, including the administration of contrast media as appropriate.
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines.
Collaborate with radiologists to determine the need for re-scans and discuss preliminary findings.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest imaging technology and safety protocols.
Proficiency in operating CT imaging devices
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology
Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skill in managing patient data and handling confidential information

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT.
Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
