Job Description
Butcher Power Products seeks a Project Manager to lead custom power distribution, switchgear, and control panel projects from kickoff through delivery. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk while coordinating engineers, designers, production, and field teams. Responsibilities include customer communication, change management, documentation, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Plan, execute, and close custom power distribution and switchgear projects
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risks to meet customer and company objectives
Coordinate cross-functional work between engineering, design, production, and field teams
Serve as primary customer contact, providing updates and managing expectations and change orders
Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, BOMs, and status reports
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle
Identify and resolve project issues, escalating when necessary
Support continuous improvement of project management processes and tools
Collaborate with sales and engineering on project proposals and handoffs
Contribute to a culture of teamwork, craftsmanship, and reliability in project execution
