Mechanical Engineer

Role & Responsibilities - Mechanical Engineer -- Onsite Engineer.

12 months Contract

5 to 7 years experience

Hands on skills with Solid works mandatory

Other software knowledge like Catia, UG will be advantage

Knowledge on fixtures

And chassis product design

Start within 2 weeks

Core Engineering & Design

• 3D Modeling & Detailing: Create 3D parts, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Revision Management: Administer engineering changes (ECO/ECN) and manage CAD libraries and PDM systems.
• Prototyping & Testing: Support the building of prototypes and assist in transitioning products from concept to manufacturing.

Onsite-Offshore Coordination

• Task Delegation: Translate client requirements and redlines into clear, actionable design packages for the offshore team.
• Quality Assurance: Review all offshore deliverables for accuracy, manufacturing feasibility, and adherence to company drafting standards.
• Communication Bridge: Conduct regular sync-ups with the offshore team to clarify design intent, resolve queries, and mitigate project delays due to time-zone differences.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor project milestones and ensure offshore deliverables meet the local client's deadlines

Role & Responsibilities - Offshore Engineer

• 3D Modeling & Drafting: Generate detailed 3D CAD models, complex assemblies, and production-ready 2D drawings per standard engineering and drafting protocols.
• Engineering Changes & BOMs: Manage Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and maintain updated Bill of Materials (BOMs) for the manufacturing floor.
