Job Description
Join GXO Logistics as a Driver Non CDL and help deliver innovative supply chain solutions. In this Transportation & Logistics role, you will safely operate non‑CDL vehicles to transport goods between customer sites, warehouses, and distribution centers. Responsibilities include performing pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, loading and unloading freight, maintaining accurate delivery documentation, and communicating with dispatch and customers. Safely operate non‑CDL company vehicles to pick up and deliver freight on assigned routes
Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly
Load, secure, and unload freight using proper equipment and safety practices
Verify shipment documentation, obtain signatures, and update delivery records electronically
Follow all GXO and DOT safety policies, traffic laws, and company procedures
Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers regarding delivery status
Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and represent GXO professionally at all times
Support continuous improvement, productivity, and sustainability initiatives in transportation operations
Safe vehicle operation (non‑CDL trucks/vans)
Local route navigation and GPS use
Freight loading and unloading
Use of pallet jacks and hand trucks
Basic vehicle inspection and maintenance checks
Electronic logging and delivery documentation (e.g., ELD, scanners)
Time management and route planning
Customer service and communication
Knowledge of DOT and company safety procedures
Basic problem-solving on the road (delays, route changes)
