Job Description
Legend Manufacturing Inc is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support our Warehouse & Manufacturing operations in Bronson, MI. In this hands-on role, you will safely move, stage, and organize materials and trailer components to keep production running efficiently. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, supplying production lines, maintaining accurate inventory, and following safety and quality standards. You’ll work in a close‑knit, family-owned environment that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement while helping build durable, high-quality trailers.
Safely load, unload, move, and stage raw materials and trailer components
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
Supply materials to production lines to support on-time trailer assembly
Maintain accurate inventory counts and proper material labeling/storage
Perform visual inspections of materials and report damage or shortages
Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards in warehouse and production areas
Assist with shipping/receiving, including verifying and documenting shipments
Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to prioritize material flow
Support continuous improvement efforts in material flow and organization
Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs
Forklift operation
Pallet jack operation
Basic inventory control
Material staging and kitting
Bill of materials (BOM) familiarity
Shipping and receiving processes
Use of handheld scanners or inventory systems
Basic measurement and safety tools (tape measure, PPE)
Loading and unloading trucks
Warehouse organization and 5S practices
