Job Description

The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking a detail-oriented Product Assembler to join our Manufacturing & Production team. In this role, you will assemble retail products and components according to specifications, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities include reading work orders, using hand and power tools, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. You’ll collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement efforts. Assemble retail products and components according to written instructions, diagrams, and planograms provided by The Retail Odyssey Company and its clients
Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality, safety, and brand standards before release to merchandising teams or shipment
Accurately label, package, and prepare assembled products, displays, and kits for distribution to retail locations nationwide
Follow standardized work processes to support merchandising initiatives that optimize in-store product placement and sales performance
Use basic hand tools and light equipment safely and correctly during assembly and packaging tasks
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety policies and industry best practices
Work closely with supervisors, planners, and merchandising team members to prioritize daily workloads and meet production deadlines
Document completed work, counts, and any defects or issues using basic data entry tools or paper logs as required
Identify and report product, equipment, or process issues, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Support a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement by participating in team huddles and training sessions
Mechanical assembly

Inventory counting and tracking
Basic data entry
Time management
Workstation organization (5S basics)
Communication with supervisors and teammates
