New Horizon Foods is seeking a skilled Cook to support our Food & Beverage Operations. In this role, you will prepare high-quality meals, follow recipes, and ensure safe food handling for healthcare and education clients. You’ll support dietary needs, maintain strict sanitation and kitchen hygiene, and assist with inventory and catering. Working closely with the Food Service Manager and a collaborative team, you’ll help deliver exceptional dining experiences while upholding our standards for quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Prepare and cook menu items to New Horizon Foods standards
Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines
Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices
Support special dietary and healthcare-related meal needs
Monitor inventory, rotate stock, and minimize waste
Operate and clean kitchen equipment safely
Collaborate with Food Service Manager and team on service quality
Assist with catering events and bulk food production
Follow healthcare and education sector dietary regulations
Contribute to a positive, team-focused kitchen culture
