• Lead month‑end and year‑end close and consolidated GAAP financials
• Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and audit readiness
• Direct budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio‑level financial analysis
• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and capital expenditures
• Lead accounting systems strategy and process improvements
• Mentor and develop a growing accounting team Qualifications for the Controller: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including senior leadership
• Prior Controller‑level experience required
• Property‑level accounting experience (required)
• Background in senior living, healthcare, multifamily, or multi‑site environments (preferred)
• Strong GAAP, internal controls, and advanced Excel expertise
• Experience with modern accounting systems (NetSuite, Yardi, Sage Intacct, etc.)
