Position Responsibilities:


The Operations Manager will provide leadership across manufacturing operations, maintenance, facilities, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for overall site performance, ensuring efficient execution of operational objectives while developing a culture focused on accountability, reliability, and operational excellence.

  • Lead day-to-day operations across production, maintenance, and facility functions to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable performance.
  • Establish operational priorities, allocate resources, and manage staffing plans to support customer commitments and business objectives.
  • Oversee facility operations including equipment reliability, utilities, infrastructure, and workplace safety initiatives.
  • Direct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime and operational effectiveness.
  • Manage departmental operating budgets, maintenance expenditures, and operational cost controls while identifying opportunities for improved profitability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen events, value stream mapping, visual management, standard work, and waste elimination methodologies.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Maintenance teams to improve operational performance and support organizational goals.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions related to safety incidents, quality concerns, downtime events, and operational disruptions.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, company policies, and customer expectations.
  • Support facility improvement projects, capital investments, equipment upgrades, and operational expansion initiatives.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and mentor supervisors, maintenance personnel, and production team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
  • Prepare operational reports, performance reviews, and strategic action plans for leadership.
  • Promote employee engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Position requirements:

  • 5–8+ years of manufacturing or industrial operations experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing production, operations, maintenance, or facility-related functions.
  • Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Experience overseeing manufacturing operations, maintenance programs, and facility performance.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies, process improvement tools, and operational best practices.
  • Experience managing budgets, resource planning, and operational cost performance.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, conflict resolution, and change management skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MES systems and Microsoft Excel or comparable business applications.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and develop action plans that improve safety, quality, delivery, and profitability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work regularly within a manufacturing environment and support occasional off-shift operational needs.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience implementing TPM, reliability-centered maintenance, or asset management programs.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or comparable quality management systems.
  • Experience managing capital projects, facility upgrades, or equipment installation initiatives.
  • Experience leading EHS programs, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Previous responsibility for a cost center, department budget, or site-level operational performance.

The pay range for this role is:
140,000 - 155,000 USD per year(Beasley, TX)
