Job Description
Clean Harbors is seeking a safety-focused Driver Class A to join our Transportation & Logistics team in Environmental Services. In this role, you will operate Class A equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials between customer sites and Clean Harbors facilities. You’ll perform safe loading/unloading, conduct DOT-compliant inspections, maintain accurate logs, and follow strict environmental and safety procedures. Working within a culture of integrity, teamwork, and sustainability, you will support meaningful environmental projects while growing your driving and technical skills.
Operate Class A trucks transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste to and from customer sites and facilities
Perform safe loading, unloading, and securement of bulk liquids, drums, and packaged materials
Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs and documentation
Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies, including PPE and spill-prevention procedures
Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and site personnel to coordinate routes and services
Assist with basic spill response and environmental services work as required in the field
Report equipment issues, incidents, and near-misses promptly to support a safety-first culture
