**Assembler** **Job Description** This role focuses on assembling and handling spare parts, supporting inventory operations, and assisting other departments with parts-related questions in a clean, quiet, and temperature-controlled environment. You will work with various computer systems, handle heavy lifting, and occasionally operate a stand-up forklift while maintaining accurate records and contributing to efficient warehouse and assembly operations. **Responsibilities** + Re-stock inventory for both internal and external vendors to ensure parts and materials are readily available. + Assist other departments by answering questions about parts, including availability, location, and usage. + Become a subject matter resource for spare parts ordering processes and tools. + Operate a stand-up forklift occasionally to move materials and products as needed, following all safety procedures. + Use various computer programs to manage inventory, orders, and shipments, with SAP and UPS systems as a strong plus. + Perform heavy lifting of 50-80 lbs as part of daily tasks, including moving, loading, and organizing products and materials. + Work on assembly tasks and general production activities as needed to support overall operations. + Perform packaging and work on packaging lines to prepare products for shipment. + Use RF scanners to pick, track, and manage inventory accurately. + Support general labor tasks within the warehouse and assembly area, including organizing, cleaning, and maintaining workstations. + Follow established procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. + Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate work and resolve issues. **Essential Skills** + Experience with assembly, general production, and packaging line work. + Ability to lift and handle 50-80 lbs safely and repeatedly. + Experience with forklift operation, especially stand-up forklifts, or willingness to learn with provided training. + Proficiency using RF scanners for inventory and order picking. + Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist other departments. + Computer literacy with the ability to learn new programs and systems. + Experience with warehouse picking and computer systems. + Ability to use various computer programs, with SAP and UPS system experience considered a significant advantage. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior experience operating a stand-up forklift is a plus. + Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or assembly environment. + Comfort working with inventory management and shipping software such as SAP and UPS platforms. + Demonstrated ability to adapt to new tools, processes, and technologies. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling parts and documentation. + Reliability and consistency in attendance and performance. **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy a supportive environment that values long-term tenure, with team members ranging from 1-2 years of service to several decades.
