Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction

We're currently partnered with a nationally recognized Top ENR General Contractor that is looking to add a Senior Project Manager to their team. This opportunity is geared toward an experienced construction professional with a strong background leading large-scale ground-up commercial projects from preconstruction through project completion.

This individual will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of project delivery, working closely with ownership, design teams, subcontractors, and internal operations staff to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Collaborate with owners, architects, consultants, and trade partners throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, contract administration, pay applications, and change orders
• Participate in preconstruction efforts including design reviews, procurement planning, bid package development, and subcontractor selection
• Oversee project schedules, document control, RFIs, shop drawings, commissioning, and project reporting
• Lead coordination meetings and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with project quality objectives
• Mentor project staff and support overall project team development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
• 10+ years of construction experience with progressive project management responsibility
• 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager leading ground-up commercial construction projects
• Strong understanding of project financials, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration
• Experience managing large-scale commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
• Proficiency with construction management and project controls software
