Construction Support Generalist

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Support Generalist to join our team. This position supports the Construction Team, including designers, estimators, project managers, and administrators. Key Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and update installation documentation and drawings as required
  • Provide support to Project Managers, Estimators, and the Construction Team
  • Coordinate bid invitations and track proposal and job performance activity
  • Upload and organize files within Google Drive
  • Perform AutoCAD work for electrical plans (preferred but not required)
  • Assist the estimating department by:
    • Preparing estimating checklists
    • Downloading plans and specifications into estimator folders
  • Complete data entry and maintain department trackers
  • Follow up on accounts receivable items
  • Manage timesheet emails and data entry
  • Review DSPS credentials
  • Assist with panel schedules, binders, best practices, and toolbox talks
  • Support additional department tasks as needed


Qualifications

  • Electrical knowledge preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Previous electrical estimating experience preferred but not required
  • AutoCAD, Revit, or 3D modeling experience preferred
  • Associate degree or drafting certificate preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team player with a positive, make-it-happen attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized manner
  • Results-oriented mindset
