Location: Tulsa, Ok - Onsite
Duration: 18-Month Contract/ possibility to perm conversion
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Systems Administrator II to support SCADA and HMI system validations for field devices. This role is critical in ensuring accurate communication between field equipment (RTU/PLC) and control systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, SCADA support, Pipeline Control, and Field Operations to validate system performance and ensure operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Point-to-Point (P2P) validations from SCADA displays through HMI systems to field devices (RTU/PLC), ensuring signal integrity and accuracy
- Validate field inputs and control outputs are correctly reflected in SCADA systems and functioning as expected
- Coordinate testing and validation activities with IT/SCADA teams, Pipeline Control, and Field Operations
- Facilitate communication across stakeholders to align schedules, confirm readiness, and resolve issues
- Execute high-volume, repeatable validation processes with precision and consistency
- Maintain detailed documentation of validation procedures, results, discrepancies, and resolutions
- Identify and escalate data inconsistencies, communication failures, and configuration issues
- Ensure all validations comply with Control Room Management (CRM) standards and internal operational guidelines
- Provide feedback to improve validation workflows, SCADA displays, and system configurations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SCADA systems, HMI interfaces, and pipeline control operations
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce audit-ready documentation
- Ability to manage repetitive technical tasks with high accuracy and consistency
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across technical and operational teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle complex schedules and dependencies
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with RTU/PLC systems and field device integration
- Familiarity with Control Room operations and validation processes
- Background in energy, utilities, or pipeline environments is a plus
