Product Manager (Cloud)

We are looking for a Product Manager (Cloud) for our client with offices in Windsor, CT for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This will be onsite initially (90 days) then shift to a hybrid schedule.

The Product Manager with a Cloud product focus is responsible for supporting the Product Management team in delivering innovative, user-centric cloud solutions that meet market demands and drive business value. The PM will gain experience in cloud product development, collaborate with different teams, and contribute to the success of cloud-based products. The PM will ensure consistent project execution for all cloud projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translates use cases and user requirements, developed in collaboration with all stakeholders, to system requirements and product engineering requirements.
• Request engineers to document key aspects of their designs during the development process, create customer-facing documentation content and organize the relevant product documentation.
• Own and maintain a comprehensive product roadmaps.
• Participates in development planning sessions and helps steer engineering teams to develop against requirements.
• Acts as a product SME to support sales, customer support, DevOps to assist in trouble shooting activities or provide potential work around solutions to customers.
• Serve a project coordinator role in the execution of various projects with the managers of all applicable cross functional teams.
• Create & maintain Gannt style trackable charts for all deliverables.

Education/Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree- engineering, computer science preferred.
• 5+ years of experience serving as a product manager.
• Software product development, using Agile best practices, for cloud and/or embedded software.
• Successful product deployment into production.
• Demonstrated ability to grasp customer needs and translate those to scalable and secure system architectures.
