Location: Jersey City, NJ

Compensation: $25–$35/hour

Schedule: Contract to Full-time, 8 hours per day


We are seeking a Datacenter Technician to support our growing infrastructure by managing hardware deployment, maintenance, and day-to-day operational reliability within our datacenter environment.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both hardware and software in a fast-paced technical setting.


Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and provisioning new hardware
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting existing equipment
  • Responding to hardware and software incidents
  • Following documented processes to mitigate and resolve issues
  • Owning the full device lifecycle, from deployment to decommissioning
  • Managing and tracking inventory
  • Communicating with engineering and operations teams to ensure hardware uptime
  • Escalating issues when necessary to minimize downtime


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
  • Hands-on experience with, or a strong interest in, consumer electronics, data center infrastructure, and networking technologies
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts
  • Comfortable working with and troubleshooting physical equipment in a data center environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no H-1B sponsorship available)
