Human Resources Manager
A growing and established engineering organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support employees and leaders across the business.
This role will serve as a key partner to management on talent strategy, employee relations, compliance, recruiting, performance management, and organizational development.
This is a full-time position with tremendous growth opportunities to eventually become a Human Resources Director. The role would pay based on experience, but could range between $125,000 - $155,000/year. Benefits including health, dental, and PTO are also provided.
This role would be onsite; however, it could have future opportunities to work a hybrid schedule (while still working onsite at least three days/week).
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to support workforce planning, employee retention, and talent development initiatives
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts and collaborate with hiring managers to attract top talent
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, investigations, and workplace concerns
- Support compensation, benefits, and employee engagement programs
- Assist with policy development and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Coordinate employee training, professional development, and career growth initiatives
- Manage unemployment claims and related documentation as needed
- Support wellness, safety, and employee recognition programs
- Oversee a team of HR professionals
- Stay current on HR best practices, employment law updates, and workforce trends
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, compliance, and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Experience supporting managers and employees in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus
