Project Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager for an onsite contract in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities:

This position will provide project management leadership for enterprise infrastructure and System Services initiatives from project concept through planning, implementation, deployment, and closeout.

Responsibilities include managing Information Technology (IT) projects through all phases of the project management lifecycle involving technical design, hardware, software, configuration, security, implementation, and deployment activities.

The Project Manager will design, plan, coordinate, and lead technical and business teams; develop project charters, project plans, business and IT requirements, communication plans, training plans, deployment strategies, status reports, and project closeout documentation.

Additional responsibilities include managing scope, quality, risk, issues, changes, stakeholders, vendors, budgets, schedules, and resources while ensuring project objectives are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with organizational standards. The role requires collaboration with executive leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders across multiple disciplines and agencies while supporting enterprise infrastructure environments, identity and access management initiatives, Microsoft technologies, networking services, governance and compliance programs, and data center services operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in the Information Technology industry

• 7 years of experience directing and managing large projects

• 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and System Services environments and projects

• 7 years of experience writing processes, procedures, and policies

• 7 years of experience in project management related to infrastructure and enterprise technology initiatives

• 7 years of experience with software deployment strategies

• Active PMP Certification (verification required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of previous experience with ITIL methodologies and certification

• 1 year of knowledge of technical certifications from industry technology leaders such as Cisco, Microsoft, or RSA

• Experience with enterprise networking technologies and Cisco environments

• Experience with Microsoft Azure AD, MFA, Active Directory, and Identity & Access Management initiatives

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Office 365, ADFS, and enterprise infrastructure technologies

• Experience with governance, risk, and compliance platforms such as Archer

• Experience with Texas DIR Data Center Services and enterprise IT operations
