We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to safely and precisely operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery for a variety of tasks. Day Shift 4:00am - 12:30pm or Mid-Shift 12:00pm - 8:30pm available . As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts and materials by programming and operating CNC machines to perform precise operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to following all safety protocols. The ability to work with focus and accuracy in a fast-paced environment is essential for success in this role.
Main Responsibilities
\nPrepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling\nUnderstand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, and mechanical drawings\nTranslate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function \nPrepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines \nPrepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications\nSet machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts \nSupervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result \nInspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly \nCheck and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality \n\n
Requirements
\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.\nComputer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming.\nMechanical aptitude and good math skills.\nA keen eye for detail and results-driven approach. \nGood communication abilities.\nProven experience as CNC operator a plus. \n\n
Education and Experience
\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.\nSuccessfully completed apprenticeship is a plus.\n\n
