Job Description
As a Branch Manager at Wintrust Financial, you will lead daily branch operations, coach and develop a high‑performing team, and ensure exceptional customer service across banking, insurance, and investment products. You will drive deposit and loan growth, manage branch P&L, and ensure compliance with regulatory and risk standards. Lead and oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficient, compliant, and customer-focused service
Coach, mentor, and develop branch staff, including setting goals, providing feedback, and managing performance
Drive branch sales and growth in deposits, loans, and fee-based products across banking, insurance, and investment solutions
Manage branch P&L, budgets, and forecasting to meet profitability and productivity targets
Ensure compliance with all banking, lending, AML/BSA, and consumer protection regulations and internal policies
Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail and small business customers to understand needs and recommend solutions
Engage in local community outreach, networking, and events to promote Wintrust and build brand presence
Oversee risk management, audit readiness, cash controls, and security procedures for the branch
Collaborate with product, commercial, and investment partners to deliver integrated customer solutions
Use performance metrics and reporting to monitor results, identify opportunities, and implement action plans
Branch operations management
Retail banking products (deposits, loans, payments)
Sales management and pipeline development
Financial analysis and P&L management
Regulatory and compliance knowledge (e.g., BSA/AML, consumer regs)
Risk management and internal controls
Customer relationship management (CRM usage)
Commercial and small business banking fundamentals
