Cath Lab Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to support interventional cardiology procedures within a fast-paced healthcare environment. In this role, you will prepare and position patients, operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, and adhere strictly to radiation safety and infection-control standards. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care while documenting procedures accurately. Prepare, position, and monitor patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
Operate fluoroscopy, imaging, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment safely and accurately
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique protocols
Administer contrast agents and medications per protocol and scope of practice
Document procedures, patient responses, and equipment usage in the medical record
Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate cath lab equipment and supplies
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care
Participate in on-call rotations, emergency procedures, and rapid response situations
Support quality improvement, compliance, and continuing education initiatives
Cardiac catheterization techniques
Fluoroscopy and imaging equipment operation
Hemodynamic monitoring and waveform interpretation
Radiation safety and ALARA principles
Sterile technique and scrub skills
EKG interpretation
Contrast administration and medication safety
Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
Infection control and patient safety
CPR/BLS and ACLS emergency response

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred
Current state radiologic technologist or invasive specialist license as applicable
