Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff. You will operate and maintain CT equipment, follow imaging protocols, and accurately document procedures. Perform high-quality CT exams according to physician orders and facility protocols
Ensure patient identification, screening, and safety, including radiation dose optimization
Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and maintaining comfort and dignity
Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol, monitoring for adverse reactions
Review images for diagnostic quality and completeness; perform basic post-processing
Accurately document procedures and maintain records within PACS/RIS systems
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and care teams to coordinate patient care
Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, reporting issues promptly
Follow infection control, regulatory, and accreditation standards at all times
Support a culture of transparency, teamwork, and continuous improvement
CT scan operation
Cross-sectional anatomy knowledge
Radiation safety and ALARA principles
Patient positioning and immobilization
IV contrast administration
Image post-processing and reconstruction
