Job Description
Community Choice Financial Family of Brands (CCFI) is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Retail Operations in the Banking, Insurance & Investment sector. In this role, you’ll support daily branch operations, coach and mentor front-line staff, and ensure delivery of exceptional customer service for personal loans, retail financing, and insurance products. You will assist with sales goals, compliance, cash management, and performance metrics, while helping to resolve escalated customer issues. Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily branch operations in a high-volume retail financial services environment.
Lead and coach front-line associates on customer service, sales techniques, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Provide direct customer service by explaining and processing personal loans, retail financing options, and insurance-related products.
Assist with staff scheduling, work assignments, and on-the-job training to ensure adequate coverage and consistent service standards.
Handle cash management activities, including drawer balancing, safe counts, deposits, and daily reconciliation to minimize discrepancies and loss.
Monitor transaction accuracy and required documentation to support compliance with internal controls and applicable financial regulations.
Track and review store performance metrics such as application volume, conversion rates, portfolio quality, and customer satisfaction scores.
Promote cross-selling and upselling of appropriate financial solutions while maintaining a customer-centric and ethical approach.
Maintain a clean, professional, and customer-ready store environment, including signage, marketing materials, and work areas.
Assist with resolving customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues when necessary.
Support local marketing and community engagement initiatives that build brand awareness and reach new customers.
