CVS Health is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. Conduct comprehensive and problem-focused patient assessments, including history, physical examination, and review of diagnostic data.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions within the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice.
Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations, clinical guidelines, and CVS Health policies.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies to support clinical decision-making.
Provide preventive care, including wellness visits, health screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling.
Deliver patient and family education on diagnoses, medications, self-care strategies, and risk factor reduction to support adherence and long-term health.
Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic health record, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other clinicians to coordinate care and close gaps in treatment for complex or high-risk patients.
Utilize telehealth and digital tools, where available, to increase access to care and enhance patient engagement.
Monitor clinical outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives aligned with CVS Health performance goals and regulatory requirements.
Follow infection control, safety, and privacy protocols, including HIPAA and OSHA standards.
Participate in team huddles, case conferences, and ongoing training to support a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous professional growth.

Current Nurse Practitioner license in state of practice
National board certification as an NP (e.g., ANCC or AANP) in a relevant specialty such as Family, Adult-Gerontology, or Acute Care
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred, depending on setting
Eligibility to prescribe medications, including controlled substances, as allowed by state law (DEA registration where required)
Experience with or training in EHR systems
Immunization training and certification as required by state regulations
