J.M. Evans Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for high-end residential construction projects in the Santa Fe area. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive construction knowledge, and the ability to oversee all aspects of field operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to company quality standards.
• Review plans, specifications, and project schedules.
• Conduct jobsite inspections and enforce safety regulations.
• Coordinate inspections and maintain compliance with local building codes.
• Communicate effectively with homeowners, architects, project managers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction superintendent experience, preferably in high-end residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of residential building practices, materials, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Local Santa Fe area knowledge is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Professional references required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time employment.
• Competitive pay commensurate with experience.
• $30–$50 per hour.
