Job Description

Kaiser Permanente seeks a licensed Psychologist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered mental health care within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will conduct psychological assessments, provide evidence-based psychotherapy, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support diverse patient populations. You will document care in our integrated EHR, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and help advance innovative, user-focused mental health services aligned with a culture of collaboration, learning, and continual improvement.
Provide psychological evaluations, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment for diverse patient populations in a healthcare setting.
Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, documenting progress in Kaiser Permanente’s EHR systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate holistic, patient-centered mental health care.
Conduct risk assessments, crisis intervention, and safety planning in accordance with clinical protocols.
Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
Participate in quality improvement, case conferences, and professional development aligned with a culture of innovation and continual improvement.

Active, unrestricted state license as a Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).
Completion of an APA- or CPA-accredited doctoral program and internship in clinical or counseling psychology.
Board certification in Clinical Psychology (ABPP) preferred but not required.
Experience in integrated primary care or hospital/medical settings preferred.
Competence with EHR systems and telehealth platforms.
