Job Description
Vituity, a leader in healthcare management services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Provider to join our team. This role is central to our mission of transforming healthcare delivery alongside our network of hospitals and healthcare providers. As an Advanced Provider, you will be integral in providing exceptional care across our various specialties including emergency medicine, hospital medicine, critical care, anesthesiology, and acute psychiatry.
Assess patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies; interpreting test results.
Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
Perform therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations; suturing; managing wounds and infections.
Instruct and counsel patients by describing therapeutic regimens; giving normal growth and development information; discussing family planning; providing counseling on emotional problems of daily living; promoting wellness and health maintenance.
Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Clinical skills and the ability to perform well under stress
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in developing treatment plans
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Current state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
