Job Summary We are seeking a Project Manager (Associate level) to support and drive automation initiatives within the Wealth Management Operations division. This role balances technical development skills with business analysis and stakeholder engagement. The Project Manager will work closely with operations teams to identify high-impact process automation opportunities and implement solutions using RPA platforms (UiPath, Power Automate, Alteryx) and scripting languages (Python, VBA, SQL). The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of operational processes and controls, experience delivering automation projects, and excellent communication skills to ensure successful adoption of new solutions.Key Responsibilities
  1. Process Analysis: Identify automation use cases, evaluate feasibility and value, and prioritize quick-win opportunities. Document business requirements, acceptance criteria, and expected outcomes.
  2. Solution Design & Development: Translate business and control requirements into automation designs. Build, test, and deploy solutions using RPA tools and scripting technologies. Support UAT, rollout, and operational readiness.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as liaison between technology teams and business stakeholders. Provide training and guidance to operations staff adopting new automated processes. Highlight improvements post-implementation to encourage adoption.
  4. Production Support: Monitor and support production automations, investigate incidents, and perform root-cause analysis. Implement enhancements to prevent recurrence and drive continuous improvement.
  5. Communication & Reporting: Provide transparent updates on project status, risks, and benefits. Escalate issues promptly and ensure milestones are communicated effectively.
Required Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  2. 5+ years of experience designing and delivering process automation solutions in financial services (preferably Wealth Management Operations)
  3. Hands-on expertise with RPA/automation platforms (UiPath, Power Automate, Alteryx)
  4. Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, VBA, and SQL
  5. Solid understanding of Wealth Management Operations processes (trade processing, settlements, reconciliations, client reporting, reference data, exception management)
  6. Demonstrated strength in business analysis, process mapping, and problem-solving
  7. Critical thinking skills to validate automation outcomes and ensure robust solutions
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience in financial services automation projects
  2. Familiarity with workflow automation and integration tools
  3. Strong communication and training skills for stakeholder adoption
Certifications
  1. None required; certifications in RPA platforms or project management (PMI, Agile) are a plus
