Job Description

This position leads field operations within a growing prefabrication and data center infrastructure environment. The Electrical Foreman assigns daily work, trains and mentors team members, and ensures that all electrical installations meet quality, safety, and code requirements throughout every phase of production. The role focuses on conduit bending, wire pulling, and terminations in support of building HACs and failure domains for large-scale equipment such as transformers.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily work activities for electricians, apprentices, and helpers in a prefabrication and data center infrastructure environment.
  • Assign tasks to team members and ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications and electrical codes.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on electrical installation practices, job-site procedures, and safe work habits.
  • Oversee conduit bending, wire pulling, and electrical terminations, including EMT and rigid conduit systems.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in prefabricated electrical assemblies used for data center installations and large-scale equipment such as transformers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and project plans to guide installation activities and verify compliance with design requirements.
  • Document work progress, track completed tasks, and provide clear updates and reports to leadership or project management.
  • Enforce safety standards, promote safe work practices, and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • Collaborate with project teams to meet production timelines, achieve project milestones, and support overall project goals.
  • Lead and manage crews of 4 or more team members, providing direction, feedback, and support to keep projects on schedule.
  • Monitor the quality of electrical construction work and promptly address any issues or deviations from specifications.
  • Support the running of projects by coordinating materials, tools, and labor needs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Essential Skills
  • Strong experience with conduit bending, including EMT and rigid conduit systems.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a commercial or industrial electrical setting.
  • Proficiency in wire pulling and electrical terminations for commercial and industrial applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and project plans.
  • Understanding of electrical codes and their application in construction and prefabrication environments.
  • Proven experience leading electrical crews, including managing crew sizes of 4 or more people.
  • Demonstrated ability to document workload, track tasks, and communicate progress clearly.
  • Experience in electrical construction and installation within industrial or commercial projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide, instruct, and motivate project teams.
  • Capability to run projects or portions of projects, coordinating tasks and resources effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Journeyman license or accredited hours in a related electrical program is a strong plus.
  • Completion of a trade school program in electrical or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in data center infrastructure or prefabrication environments.
  • Background in training and instructing apprentices or junior electricians.
  • Familiarity with industrial installations involving transformers and large-scale electrical equipment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional project teams and adapt to changing project priorities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $93600.00 - $114400.00/yr.
