The Technician/Programmer will play a crucial role in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining consumer electronics systems including Lutron, Control4, Josh AI, and Savant. As a member of a small, collaborative team, this position demands frequent travel and involvement in project management and installation activities, particularly in new construction rough-ins.
Responsibilities
- Program and configure consumer electronics and automation systems
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions
- Maintain and update system documentation
- Install equipment and manage system integration on-site
- Participate in new construction rough-in and project management tasks
- Collaborate closely with a small team to ensure project success
- Travel frequently to client sites for installations and support
- Install and calibrate home theater and whole home/ office audio systems
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in technical programming
- Proficiency with Control4, Lutron, and Savant systems
- Strong troubleshooting and system integration skills
- Experience with technical documentation
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals
