Senior Plumbing Design Engineer

**Position Summary** Provide technical guidance to Engineering Team in the development of standards, projects, and people. Provide ongoing technical guidance and engineering issue resolution to field teams as needed. **Position Details** + Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instruction. + Identify design, process and equipment options that can satisfy client requirements, minimize costs and limit potential operational problems. + Teach others how to interface directly with other disciplines and coordinate with client personnel, contractors, architects, and other project team members to ensure value engineering and the delivery of high-quality projects within the prescribed time frames. Provide guidance on presentations when necessary. + Develop and distribute methods for providing solutions for complex engineering problems and identifying the most efficient and acceptable approach to executing a broad range of design activities. + Provide direction for preparation of on-site field surveys to collect or deliver design and engineering data. + Write technical narratives to capture design standards, lessons learned, and constructability input. + Provide input for project scheduling and budgeting related to engineering activities. + Develop and maintain standards for engineering calculations, drawing presentation and content, and proper incorporation of external input. + Understand and assist with the input and output of accurate project data in Southland systems. + Maintain timely and accurate oral and written technical reports regarding assigned engineering activities. + Perform additional assignments as requested/needed. + Travel Requirements:
