Senior Human Resources Business Partner - Remote First

Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join their dynamic, remote-first team. This pivotal role will serve as a key advisor to leadership and employees, driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives and foster a positive and productive work environment. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and organizational development. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and the nuances of managing a distributed workforce.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to designated business units, understanding their challenges and providing proactive HR solutions.
  • Partner with leaders to develop and execute talent management strategies, including succession planning, career development, and retention initiatives.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations and recommending appropriate resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure effective recruitment and onboarding processes for remote hires.
  • Advise on compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Drive performance management cycles, coaching managers on feedback delivery and goal setting.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
  • Develop and deliver HR training programs for managers and employees on various HR topics.
  • Stay abreast of labor laws and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance across all HR practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures, particularly those relevant to remote operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner role.
  • Proven experience supporting a remote or hybrid workforce is essential.
  • Strong understanding of all core HR functions, including employee relations, talent management, compensation, and legal compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR technology platforms.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing remote work environment.
