Remote HR Generalist

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote HR Generalist to join their dynamic team, based out of Huntsville, Alabama, US . This fully remote position will provide comprehensive support across various human resources functions, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a broad understanding of HR principles, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR compliance. You will play a key role in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal requirements. Responsibilities include managing recruitment processes from job posting to offer acceptance, conducting new hire orientations, administering employee benefits programs, and serving as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures. You will also be involved in performance management processes, assisting with employee relations issues, and maintaining accurate employee records in the HRIS system. This remote role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently while collaborating effectively with a dispersed team. A commitment to confidentiality and a detail-oriented approach are essential. We are looking for a proactive individual who can adapt to evolving business needs and contribute to fostering a strong company culture. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, along with 3-5 years of progressive HR experience. PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a significant advantage. Experience with HRIS software and other HR technology platforms is required. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and mediating conflicts as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Support performance management processes and initiatives.
  • Conduct HR training sessions for employees and managers.
  • Assist with compensation and benefits analysis.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS and recruitment software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
